On the Block with BMC is a monthly video series profiling people in our community. As a Central Brooklyn based, community organizing group, the Brooklyn Movement Center is committed to serving as a platform to amplify local voices. Each month as we select community members to interview– We will be taking suggestions and fielding questions from you, our viewers, via Facebook and Twitter and ask selected questions during the interview.
For our first episode, we wanted to highlight the congressional race between Councilman Charles Barron and Assemblymember Hakeem Jeffries. Elections will be held on Tuesday, June 26th.
